Grant for Brooklyn Children’s Museum

, Posted in: Uncategorized, Author: admin (October 27, 2011)

10/26/11 I would be remiss if I didn't mention Michael D. Stalonas – "Mickey" – of The Joseph LeRoy and Ann C. Warner Fund, whose own personal story is compelling and heartbreaking. He came to he museum and increased their grant request after speaking with Georgina and her staff. In June of this year, Mickey lost his beloved  21-month old granddaughter and felt moved to reach out and help others.

Our deepest sympathy and gratitude go out to Mickey, his family, and the wonderful Warner Fund who share our dream.
